President of the Methodist Church in Ireland, the Rev David Nixon is attending Her Majesty The Queen’s funeral in London.
The Rev Nixon was invited along with other Church leaders.
Commenting on this invitation, the Methodist President said:
“I am honoured by this invitation to be present and process at the funeral service for the late Queen and pray that for King Charles III and all the Royal Family that this service will bring them peace and encouragement as they move into the next chapter of their lives.”
Around 2,000 guests are at the service at Westminster Abbey.
