Those attending Conference enjoyed a tour of Belfast on Friday night, taking in the sights, sounds and the city’s rich history of churches through scripture and reflection.
The groups were led around the city, stopping at various notable points including Belfast City Hall, the Waterfront Hall and the Beacon Of Hope at Queen’s Bridge, the public art metal sculpture. The group continued on to view the Big Fish, Custom House Square, St Anne’s Cathedral, and the First Presbyterian (Non-subscribing) Church. The group then stopped again to reflect at St Mary’s Catholic Church in Chapel Lane, and at Royal Belfast Academical Institution before heading back to Fisherwick.
At each historical point the group paused to hear historical facts, poetry, readings and to pray.

The Rev David Campton, group leader, the Rev Andrew Dougherty and the Rev David Rock pause to reflect with their group in the midst of a burst of heavy rain.
