of the items donated locally to the Ukraine appeal.

Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine began, Churches have united in condemnation against the violence, calling for prayer and support for refugees.

Vigils have been organised and people have expressed solidarity by offering space in their homes to the mostly women and children forced to flee to escape shelling and strikes by Russian armed forces.

Methodist churches have become collection points for basic aid to be driven in containers to bordering countries. The large number of essential items collected have shown the extent of Methodist kindness and generosity across Ireland.
