When we are young, our relationship with food is pretty straightforward; we like a particular food, or we don’t; we will eat it, or we will resist it – whatever our parents do to persuade us otherwise!

But as we age, our understanding of food, what it does for us, and the implications of how it is acquired, becomes more complicated.
