Letter from our President, the Rev David Nixon….
I had a blast from the past on 8 January.
I was delighted to see my former boss, Oliver Haslette, and my woodwork teacher in Secondary School, Mr Kelly, in the congregation in Manorhamilton. Tom and I were at an evening circuit service with the Rev Jeremy Nicoll.
As I shared what had happened over the 33 years since I left my carpentry job in Manorhamilton, I expressed my appreciation to both of them as God had used their teaching and influence on my life for the development of the skills training centre in Zambia.
Thank God for all our teachers and all who are involved in education….
